Hello! I am studying abroad in Tokyo Spring '09 and am very excited about it. I wanted to fully experience Tokyo and all that it has to offer. To prepare, I am taking an intensive Japanese Course. I am excited to learn some basics and be able to speak/read to some degree so I could eat well at restaurants, interact with my host family, and try a few pickup lines at clubs. In my first three weeks, I haven't found anything really difficult. However, I should stop trying to translating hiragana characters into english letters in order to read/write faster.

I am currently in the process of finding dj'in gigs at Tokyo clubs. I hope to show Tokyo my style in mixing hip-hop music. Make the place go bump! Here is one of my favorite Japanese Dj's:

Dj Kentaro.

Hey!
I really want to study abroad in Japan as well.

While studying Hiragana it helps if you study all the similar letters together and make connections between them. for example wa,ne and re are all similar letters

:)
